Terms and Conditions

Best of Both is dedicated to providing a world class experience to our clients and do everything within our power to make time spent with us unforgettable. All golf and ski experiences sold are subject to the following conditions:

Best of Both Pricing: All pre-packaged excursions are priced per person based on double occupancy and a group of 8 travelers (including the Best of Both Pro)  in US Dollars. If for any reason the group size falls below 8 travelers and within 90 days of departure Best of Both reserves the right to re-adjust the excursion pricing. Traveler has the right to refuse the re-adjusted pricing with no penalty and request a full refund or apply funds paid to future travel. Special events and/or large group experiences may be priced differently. Rates include all amenities as indicated in the reservation. Package price can include scheduled accommodation, transportation, lift tickets, green fees, rental equipment, meals and tour features, as specified in the reservation.

Best of Both reserves the right to increase excursion prices to cover increased costs, tariffs, taxes and V.A.T. received after prices are published and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets.

Not Included in Excursions: Passenger Travel Protection Plan; international and internal airfares, unless otherwise noted; costs associated with obtaining passports or entry visas; airport departure taxes, unless otherwise noted; excess baggage charges; meals other than specified in the itinerary; beverages other than noted in your pre-tour documentation; sightseeing not included in the itinerary; and personal expenses such as laundry, communication charges and optional activities (which are subject to availability.

Itineraries: Accommodations and arranged activities are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Best of Both’s control. Every effort will be made to operate itineraries as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. Best of Both also reserves the right to withdraw an excursion or any part of it, to make alterations to the itinerary or the excursion inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable, and to pass on to travelers any costs caused by delays or events beyond its control.

Insurance: Best of Both recommends that you purchase Insurance for your reservation. Some types of travel insurance that we recommend are:
i. Medical insurance to cover any potential hospital and ambulance expenses
ii. Personal insurance to cover loss of baggage, skis, and personal belongings
It is your responsibility to ensure that the above insurance covers you while you are participating in a Best of Both experience.
iii. Trip cancellation insurance to cover any cancellations made by Best of Both.

Passports and Visas: Valid passports are required for all international destinations and in some cases there may be visa requirements. Please note that non-U.S. passport holders are responsible for obtaining the required documentation applicable for entry. Passports must be valid for six (6) months after the return of your journey and should also have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigrations stamps. Best of Both cannot be held responsible should you be denied entry to a country due to non-compliance with these requirements. A copy of your valid passport must be submitted to Best of Both in order to confirm flight reservations.

Booking and Cancellation Policy: A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to confirm your reservation.  The outstanding balance is due 90 days prior to the start of your trip or event.  Cancellations received by Best of Both 120 days or more prior to departure will be subject to a $500 per person cancellation fee; 119-90 days will be subject to 20% of the excursion price; 89-45 days prior will be subject to 50% of the excursion price and 44 days or less to departure will be subject to 100% of the excursion price.

Photography During Travel: Best of Both reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any excursion or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a program with Best of Both, travelers agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Travelers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to their escort at the beginning of their excursion.

Limits on Best of Both’s Responsibility: Best of Both Golf & Ski, its employees, shareholders, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns (collectively Best of Both), does not own or operate any entity which is to or does provide goods or services for your trip. It purchases hotel and other lodging accommodations, restaurant, ground handling and other services from various independent suppliers (including from time to time other affiliated Best of Both companies). All such persons and entities are independent contractors. As a result, Best of Both is not liable for any negligent or willful act of any such person or entity or of any third person.

In addition and without limitation, Best of Both is not responsible for any injury, financial or physical loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.

Travel Advisories and Warnings: It is the responsibility of the traveler to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to the U.S. State Department’s travel web site at travel.state.gov or by phone at 888-407-4747. In the event of an active State Department Travel Warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip, should the traveler still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, the traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events such as those advised or warned against.

Acceptance of Risk: You acknowledge that any Best of Both activities may involve personal risk. You must sign and return to Best of Both a liability waiver at the time of your arrival date. Not doing so may result in you not being able to participate in any activity requiring a liability waiver. Best of Both’s activity suppliers have their own waivers, which must also be signed prior to engaging in those activities. In most cases, purchase of a lift ticket or payment of green fees is considered acceptance of the risks associated with the activity, hence acceptance of personal liability.

Right of Refusal: Best of Both reserves the right to refuse a booking for any reason whatsoever. Please note that some activities in a Best of Both experience require a minimum level of personal fitness and physical participation by you. Any pre-existing ailment or illness may disqualify you from an activity. Best of Both’s representatives reserve the right to disqualify any person from an activity if he/she deems that person unfit to continue. To avoid disappointment, please notify Best of Both ahead of time of any health conditions, illness and/or physical or mental disability that may interfere with your ability to participate in an activity. Many activities may be substituted to suit your individual needs.
ANY PAYMENT TO BEST OF BOTH CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN AND IN MORE SPECIFIC PRE-DEPARTURE PASSENGER DOCUMENTATION, INCLUDING THE PERSONAL INFORMATION FORM.
