Alpine Ontario, one of Canada's top alpine ski racing organizations, was in search of special experiences to give away as prizes to a select number of supporters of their annual fundraising initiative. They wanted something unique and thoughtful while at the same time a gift that supporters could relate to and appreciate. At the top of their list was a trip to a World Cup ski race. Enter Best of Both Golf & Ski, specialists in arranging high end experiences to world-renowned destinations and events surrounding both sports. Our annual trip to the Hahnenkamm World Cup races, hosted by a former Hahnenkamm competitor, seemed to be a perfect fit.
Two VIP supporters of Alpine Ontario's annual fundraiser were awarded with an all inclusive trip to the Hahnenkamm World Cup races with Best of Both Golf & Ski. Upon arrival at the Salzburg airport they were met by a chauffeur and transferred to the historic European ski town of Kitzbuhel, home of the annual Hahnenkamm World Cup. For the next five days they were treated like royalty: luxury accommodation and transfers, VIP grandstand seats in the finish coral for each day of racing, on and off-hill guiding to the resorts best slopes and scenery, gourmet European cuisine, access to the best parties and events, and much more. To top it off, they spent the week enjoying one of Europe's top winter sporting events while being hosted by Luke Sauder, a six-time Hahnenkamm competitor and former Canadian ski team member. The trip ended by raising a glass to toast new friends and a truly unforgettable European ski trip.
Our client reported to us at Best of Both that they received an overwhelming show of appreciation from the VIP supporters who went on the trip. It was such a success for our clients that they decided to award another VIP supporter of their fundraising initiative the following year with a trip to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, organized and hosted by Best of Both Golf & Ski.
