60 executives and associates were invited to Whistler for a weekend team building retreat. Our client was looking for more than cookies and a boardroom for their corporate retreat. They wanted a weekend that was creative, unique, and encompassed a variety of activities to push employees out of their comfort zone. A place to provide group challenges that would strengthen team building skills and problem solving as a company, all while having fun. Our client wanted to ensure the experience would reflect how highly they valued their employees, so it was only natural they wanted the best in the industry to accompany their weekend. This could most certainly be arranged with our Best of Both golf & ski pros. Set in a Whistler playground, the client came to explore and dine like kings over the 2-day retreat.
Best of Both created a fun and engaging weekend with touches of luxury and a sense of adventure. This included private guided downhill mountain biking, outdoor BBQ catered lunches, kayak and canoe tours, drinks and gourmet snacks around a bonfire and dinner overlooking a glacier lake. But what would a visit to Whistler be without skiing? Guided by our world cup skiers, clients enjoyed ski racing on the glacier followed by a golf clinic and 18 holes with former PGA Tour competitors, or a private guided hike to Cheakamus Lake. The options were endless and so were the laughs. The weekend event finished with a private farewell dinner, entertainment by Whistler’s favorite band, the Hairfarmers, and many stories to share.
