How are Best of Both’s trips and events different from other tour operators?

First, we deliver the thrill of either golfing or skiing or both in a world class destination.  Second, we give you the ability to share your golf or ski experience with a ‘celebrity’ professional golfer and skier who shares your passion.  Reserved for discerning individuals, you will receive an insiders perspective of competing against the best in the world in the most challenging events.  At the same time you hear memorable stories and receive special tips to help you improve that only a lucky few get to experience. Third, Best of Both is the first tour operator to offer the combined summer adventures of golfing and skiing in the same day in a renowned destination to luxury travelers.

Who is behind Best of Both?

Best of Both was created by Dana Williams, Founder and President of Williams Adventures Inc. As a professional athlete with the Canadian Alpine Ski Team from 1997 to 2000, Dana was ranked fifth in Canada and 69th in the world in the downhill event. Following his retirement from the national team, Dana went on to earn a Commerce degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University and apply his business skills in the recreation industry. In addition to operating his own business, Williams Summer Ski Camp in Whistler, BC, Dana has acted as national team coach for the Canadian Paralympic Ski Team and the British Columbia representative for a pre-eminent Scottish golf tour operator.

By creating Best of Both Golf and Ski, Dana has been able to bring together his extensive business acumen with his love of sport to create the ideal luxury vacation.

What level of experience do I need to go on a Best of Both trip?

Best of Both experiences are designed for intermediate to expert skiers and golfers.  Our pro athletes are experienced in working with a wide range of skill levels.  A main goal of Best of Both Golf & Ski is to provide you with an experience that broadens your horizons and develops your skills while having fun. Whether you’re an intermediate with a moderate amount of experience, an advanced expert wanting to improve your technique, or an adventure travel enthusiast looking for a unique vacation, our trips and events are for you.

Who are the pro athletes accompanying you on your Best of Both escorted trips?

We work with Olympians, world champions, world cup racers, PGA and LPGA tour competitors, and others whose talent for sport is matched only by their enthusiasm for helping you get better and showing you a good time. Can I make changes to your trip itineraries?

If you want more or less time, or want to extend your stay, we will do our best to accommodate your special request. Please contact Best of Both for itinerary changes.

Will you create a unique trip for a group?

Can I cancel my reservation after I paid a deposit?

Yes. Best of Both must receive your cancellation request in writing. Your deposit is not refundable. Please click on the ‘Terms & Conditions‘ link at the bottom left our website for our cancellation policies.

How many people will be in each Best of Both trip?

In order to provide you with an intimate and memorable experience, Best of Both will keep the guest to pro athlete ratio at a maximum of 7:1. If you have a private group or corporate event request then we can accommodate a greater or smaller ratio depending on your group size and requirements.
