"Golfing in Ireland Doesn’t Get Better Than This"
We thought we could check in with Bryn Parry, our celebrity golf pro leading a group of six avid golfers on our Ireland golf tour. In Bryn’s words –
Well I am checking in from Ireland and we are having a great time. Firstly, its not cold, there has been no wind and no rain. Yes we are in Ireland. Locals have said that weather we have experienced probably happens about 10 days in a year and we have had three perfect days in a row.
Temperatures have been between 17 -21 degrees Celsius and sunny. Everyone is definitely getting a workout after completing 36 holes each day. Of the courses we have played so far Waterville Golf links has been the best in my opinion. It’s a true championship course which makes it very challenging but also very playable. We had a great time. Old Head stood out as the most visually spectacular while Tralee was enjoyed the most by everybody because it’s resort style course set-up made it quite forgiving.
The meals have been great every night especially at Rathsallagh where we were served a 7 course dinner and treated like kings. Overall so far the experience has just been fantastic.
Tomorrow we play Ballybunion Golf Course, a course on most of the guys ‘bucket list’. This was a special request from one of our guys, and sure enough magic happened. We have found ourselves with a tee time for one of the best courses in Ireland.
Alright, enough from me, I have 5 hours of sleep to catch!
Thank you Bryn — we look forward to your trip wrap up summary when you get home on October 3.

Bryn – I’m jealous!! Enjoy the rest of your trip….will be easy with Ballybunion, Lahinch, and Doonbeg still to be played.
